Fall in is the air but you wouldn't know it from the weather outside! It seems like thats about to come to an end this weekend however with lots of rain in the Portland forecast. Fortunately there are tons of events going on this weekend to keep the winter blues away, and a few of them have to deal with our favorite topic-real estate!
The Architectural Heritage Center is hosting speaker William J Hawkens this Saturday for a discussion on "Greek Revival Architecture in Oregon Territory: 1838-1859." Go to http://www.visitahc.org/ to find out more.
The Portland Nursery is celebrating its 25th annual Apple Tasting on Saturday and Sunday, with live music, activities, and of course apple products of all kinds to celebrate the harvest season. Visit www.portlandnursery.com for more information.
Even though the Ducks aren't playing this weekend there are still plenty of things to do down in Eugene, where the 30th Lane County Home Improvement is being held at the Lane Event Center Fairgrounds. The Harvest Home Tour is also being held there.
And of course with it being October its impossible to miss all the pumpkins that have invaded the local grocery stores. If you feel like taking a quick trip out of town to celebrate the Halloween happenings check out Sauvie's Island Pumpkin Patch (http://sauvieisland.org/) for all sorts of fall-related events. If you feel like going a bit farther out to Hood River, Rasmussen Farms is hosting a Pumpkin Funland event all weekend.
Hope you have a safe and fun weekend!
